Thanks to your support, our #FreedomTo campaign won several amazing awards!
We created our first integrated marketing campaign using social media, PR and digital out-of-home channels in 2013. Pride adverts appeared on the underground and buses around London, with members of the LGBT+ community and some of our supporters sharing their #FreedomTo message.
We won the Best Advert Award at the Stonewall Awards, Best Marketing Campaign at the British LGBT Awards, and two LoveContent awards (Best Digital Out-of-Home Campaign and the Digital Out-of-Home Planning Award).
We were also shortlisted in the Chartered Institute of Public Relations Excellence Awards, the UK Social Media Awards and the Excellence in Diversity Awards.
The social media and PR campaigns were managed by our volunteers Lauren Anderson and James Watts. The advertising campaign was devised by Andrew Newman and Neil McKenney, and was supported by DOOH and Exterion UK.
