Pride’s Got Talent 2016 has got off to a stunning start!  Early heats held at The Two Brewers Clapham and Freedom and Muse bars in Soho have seen a tremendous range of talent take to the stage. At stake is the chance to perform on the Pride in London stages during this year’s Festival, which will run from 13 to 26 June.

The first semi-final, at KuBar this Sunday, 10 April, will be hosted by Michael Twaits and feature a stunning array of new talent.

The Cabaret Heats take place on 18 April at the Two Brewers in Clapham and on 19 April at Bloc Bar in Camden. The Cabaret Semi-Final will be held at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern on Wednesday 20 April.

Sunday 15 May sees the Grand Final at the Charing Cross Theatre when the winners of the two semi-finals will go head to head for the chance of winning the titles of Winner of Pride’s Got Talent and Pride’s Got Talent Cabaret. All finalists have a guaranteed stage placement according to the nature of their act (one appears on the Pride in London main stage in Trafalgar Square) on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 June.

I’ve been a huge supporter of Pride’s Got Talent since the beginning. It’s a fantastic way to get new talent in front of London’s very discerning audiences. The performers coming forward this year are more exciting and original than ever and the talent levels are through the roof!  Come on down to one of our events and get to see stars in the making!

Each year we the competition gets hotter and hotter and the sheer diversity of the talent pool gets wider as performers from every part of London’s beautiful LGBT+ community show us their true colours. Huge thanks are due to Freedom, Muse, KuBar, the Two Brewers, Bloc Bar, the Royal Vauxhall Tavern and the Charing Cross Theatre for hosting this competition. Now we hope the LGBT+ community will show its support in return and get behind these venues and our performers.
