LGBT rights - a changing landscape?

Wednesday 15 February 2017

An event hosted by Pride in London and CMS as part of LGBT History Month (Photograph: Pride in London and CMS)

The theme for LGBT History Month 2017 is 'Citizenship, PSHE and Law', to mark the 50th anniversary of the partial decriminalisation of male homosexuality in England and Wales.

As part of LGBT History Month, Pride in London and CMS (its pro bono law firm) are hosting "LGBT rights: a changing landscape?", an evening of discussion and networking.

We will explore how LGBT+ rights have progressed over the past 50 years and consider what further hurdles need to be overcome to allow the LGBT+ community the freedoms to live their lives on a genuinely equal footing with all in our society.
