LGBT+ Self Defence Classes

Saturday 24 June 2017

Ishigaki Jujitsu class (Photograph: Ishigaki Jujitsu)

The event is a self-defence class based on the principles of Jujitsu.

The philosophy of Ju-Jitsu (the gentle way) is to use an attacker's force against them, mainly through the use of pins, joint locks, and throws. It can be can be used for personal safety and self defence, by building confidence, skill and awareness, and is very effective even for smaller, less strong practitioners.

No previous experience is required, but registration is essential.
