Diversity Choir’s Summer Concert 2017 celebrates its 25th Anniversary and also commemorates 50 Years since the partlal decriminalisation of homosexuality in England and Wales.

To mark this, their concert centres on music by gay composers and performers, together with music that is a favourite with gay audiences. The concert includes music by Queen, Dolly Parton, and Judy Garland, together with pieces by Bernstein, Saint-Saens and Tchaikovsky; the concert culminates with a performance of Poulenc’s ‘Gloria’, with soloists, choir and orchestra.

Diversity Choir, formed in 1992, is London’s original LGBT chamber choir, of about fifty singers who enjoy singing a wide variety of music, ranging from Monteverdi to Lady Gaga.

£12 / £8 concessions in advance; £15 / £10 concessions on the door.
