How was the artwork selected?

All artwork was judged based only on the Title, Description and Image of the artwork.

A panel of LGBT+ personalities and allies rated each piece of artwork was given a score out of 10, with the top scoring 69 artwork going to the next stage.

Dusty O then repeated the process to reduce down to 51 pieces, with the 52nd being a piece of artwork from Miss Dusty O himself.

Who curated the exhibition and what was their role?

Curated by London artist, David Hodge (aka Miss Dusty O) pulled together an exhibition to showcase and celebrate queer art and put the spotlight on the work of LGBT+ artists within London.

Will the artwork go to a physical gallery?

As the year progresses, we shall aim to make plans to launch the physical exhibition in a gallery. This as you know had to be scrapped due to COVID-19. If this is possible, we shall let everyone know via our website and social media channels.

How will Fifty-Two support Pride in London and the Unity Fund?

35% commission from each artwork sold will be donated to Pride in London’s Unity Fund.
