About the artist
I am a multimedia artist working on themes of politics, folklore, anthropology, sociology and history. I work mainly in printmaking, alternative process photography and textiles. I frequently draw on my identity and experiences in navigating the world as a queer disabled person as subjects for my practice and challenge the perception of disability and queerness. I am interested in examining cultural structures and translating theoretical concepts and writings into visual art, I often view my practice as a visual essay in which I translate theory based content into a visual context.
