Award-winning artist-led souvenir store We Built This City has collaborated with acclaimed East London design duo RUDE for the release of an exclusive print in celebration of Pride in London 2017.
Available at WBTC’s Carnaby Street store from Monday 3rd July, the striking print features Pride in London’s 2017 campaign message ‘Love Happens Here’ in Rude’s distinctive, colourful typographic style.
Throughout the week leading up to the Pride in London Parade on Saturday 8th July, the WBTC creative team will be offering a free in-store stencilling service, giving customers the opportunity to have their Love Happens Here print personalised with the area, borough or special place in London where love happens for them...
Whether it’s Soho, Hackney, Brixton, Camden, Notting Hill, or your postcode, wedding venue, street name or the place you met the WBTC team will be ready for your personalisation request.
On Saturday 8th July, Abi and Rupert from Rude will take over print personalisation duties in store, whilst other artists from WBTC’s creative community including recent Saatchi Gallery exhibitor Rugman will be joining the celebrations on Carnaby with live art on the street.
Alice Mayor, founder of We Built This City says:
“There’s never been a more important time to champion and elevate the creativity and love that London offers us all. With the help of our talented friends at RUDE, we’re able this year to offer a souvenir which truly reflects the passion, colour and vibrancy running through the city during Pride in London’s incredible celebrations.”
Prints cost £25 each with 50% of profits from every Love Happens Here sale going to Pride in London as a joint donation from We Built This City and RUDE.
