Coming out for LGBT+ events just got a lot easier with the launch of a new digital platform that will showcase the broad range of queer events taking place across London.

New platform Coming Out will promote events by queer people for queer people, and is being launched by Pride in London, the UK's largest Pride. Events from every corner of the LGBT+ community will be listed online and via a brand new app.

Coming Out is launching as part of Pride in London’s commitment to celebrating and amplifying the breadth of events happening throughout the year, including community-run events. The platform will allow LGBT+ community groups and LGBT+ venues in London to showcase what’s happening and how people can take part.

The platform is the first of its kind in the capital to exclusively host LGBT+ events and will ensure queer groups and individuals across London are better connected throughout the year.

Simon Jones, Director of Events for Pride in London, said: "We want to bring LGBT+ people together not just for one day in the summer, but throughout the whole year. From protests to picnics, parties to poetry, Coming Out is now your complete guide to London’s queer scene. Pride in London has long championed the city’s rich tapestry of LGBT+ spaces and venues both big and small. Making these events as accessible as possible at the touch of a button is one way we can continue to support the lifeblood of London’s queer scene.

“Ensuring these spaces and venues are safe and inclusive is of the utmost importance. That’s why the platform will only feature events that have met Pride in London’s core values and diversity criteria. Coming Out is now your complete guide to London’s queer scene - come out and see!

The platform is free to access and free for event listings. All events submitted to the Coming Out platform will be subject to review by Pride in London to ensure they are safe, accessible and inclusive. Details about the event will be required in advance and must meet Pride in London's values.

Event organisers can submit details at . Support and advice will be provided by Pride in London to organisers to help market the events.
