Pride in London today announces that applications are now open for organisations looking to participate in next year’s hugely-anticipated parade, to be held on Saturday 29th June 2024.
Last year's "Never March Alone" campaign formed the backdrop for the more than one point five million people who cheered, celebrated and protested throughout central London. At the heart of the event was the parade, which saw a staggering 35,000 participants rallying together to march in solidarity and support.
London’s iconic Pride in London Parade will return in 2024 for its biggest year yet. As a diverse, inclusive, community-centred parade that is accessible to all, based on the core values of Visibility, Unity, and Equality, it’s set to bring communities and allies together like never before.
Applications are now open for established LGBTQ+ community groups, LGBTQ+ businesses, non-profits, unions, the public sector, and businesses wishing to march in the parade as part of one of the biggest days in the LGBT+ calendar. Registration is open until the 26th January 2024. Information and a registration link can be found at https://events.prideinlondon.org/parade2024.
Christopher Joell-Deshields, CEO of Pride in London, said:
"It brings me immense pride to see London’s iconic Pride parade grow each year, as more LGBTQ+ community groups, businesses, partners and passionate Londoners come together to march as one. This colourful, vibrant display of solidarity sends a powerful message of advocacy and support for LGBTQ+ people in the UK and worldwide. I encourage all who are committed to advocating for LGBTQ+ rights to stand tall and apply to participate in 2024.”
Pride in London also welcomes new partners and sponsors who share our values of LGBTQ+ advocacy.
