Stalls applications are now open

We have stalls in five locations around the Pride in London 2019 footprint on Saturday 6th July, and we are now accepting applications from charities, community groups and businesses.

Please note: Food and drink traders have already been selected for 2019 and applications are not being accepted for these.

Applications close at 17:00 on Monday 1st April.


Available locations

Golden Square
Standard marquees (3m x 3m) located around the inside of the Square.

Leicester Square
Standard marquees (3m x 3m) along the northern edge of the Square, facing the Women’s Stage

Soho Square
Standard marquees (3m x 3m) around the outside of Soho Square, our Community Village

Trafalgar Square (Pall Mall East)
Standard marquees (3m x 3m) running down the western edge of Trafalgar Square

Trafalgar Square North Terrace
Large marquees (5m x 5m) facing the Trafalgar Square stage

The price is the same for all locations, except for the North Terrace - this reflects these marquees' prime location and larger stall size. A new pricing structure this year means that we have been able to reduce the price for smaller charities and community groups.

Frequently asked questions

What are the timings?

You can access your stall from 09:30 on Saturday 6th July. You must be ready for an inspection by Pride in London and Westminster City Council at 11:30, and open to the public from 12:00-20:00. Early closure and/or break down is not allowed.

Can I sell things on the stall?

Yes, but you will need a trading licence from Westminster City Council. We will provide advice and guidance on this in due course. Last year the licences cost £125. Please note that we ask you to clarify whether you are selling things on your stall in the application.

Can we give things away on the stall?

With a few key exceptions (stickers, carrier bags, tote bags, alcohol, confetti), you are welcome to give away samples to visitors. However, we really urge you to consider the sustainability of the samples, and if they are causing excess litter around the site we may ask you to stop.

Can we fundraise for our charity?

You are encouraged to promote your charity’s services, but we don’t allow fundraising on our stalls.

Can we bring a vehicle or trailer instead of using a marquee?

All stalls are marquee-only, and we cannot have vehicles or trailers on site.

What’s included in the price?

We provide the marquee, one 1.2m trestle table and two chairs.

For a small fee, extra tables (£10 each) and chairs (£5 each) can also be ordered. North Terrace marquees can order electricity for £250 + VAT. Electricity is not available in other locations.

Can I select the location?

During the application process you’ll be asked for your first and second choice of location. We will do our best to meet these requests, but may not be able to in all cases.

Is vehicle access available?

Limited vehicle access can be arranged for drop off and collection only. You will need to park your vehicle away from the footprint.

Prohibited items

You may not bring glass, diesel or petrol generators, fuel, smoke machines or smoke effects, amplified music, strobe lighting, or confetti onto or around your stall.

We do not allow the sale or promotion of tobacco or vaping products.

What happens when I apply?

We accept all applications up to 1st April. We will then review all applications, and decide which applications to accept; we’re looking for a mix of charities, community groups and businesses that will offer relevant, interesting and engaging experiences for all visitors to Pride in London.

We’ll let you know by 22nd April if your application has been accepted, and you have the option to accept or decline the offer we make to you.
