QUIET PRIDE

PRIDE, REIMAGINED:
YOUR SPACE, YOUR PACE

Quiet Pride 2026 is an accessibility‑led Pride in London initiative designed for LGBTQIA+ people who may find traditional Pride environments overwhelming or inaccessible. Returning for its second year on Saturday 4 July 2026, it offers a calm, inclusive, low‑noise sensory space that sits alongside — but separate from — the main Pride in London celebrations.

Quiet Pride centres comfort, safety, predictability, and dignity, ensuring people can take part in Pride in ways that feel supportive and joyful to them, without losing the celebratory essence of Pride.

Who is it for?

Quiet Pride is for anyone who wants to experience Pride in a way that feels calm, spacious, and supportive — including neurodivergent people, disabled people, people with mental health conditions, and anyone who prefers a quieter environment.

Quiet Pride is a dedicated accessible Pride space, not a reduced version of the main event.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Quiet Pride offers a series of gentle, choice‑based activities designed to reduce sensory load while still connecting attendees to the wider Pride moment. These include:

  • Quiet Viewing Area — Watch or listen to the Pride parade via wireless headphones with multiple audio options, allowing each person to control their sensory experience.

  • Quiet Reading and Well-being Area — A quiet reading and wellbeing space

  • Legacy Mapping Banner — A collaborative artwork, celebrating community history and continuity.

  • Sensory Area — A calm space with fidget tools and self‑regulation supports.

  • Silent Disco — A movement‑friendly, low‑sensory disco using Bluetooth headphones

  • Arts and Crafts activities — Arts and crafts table for individual and collaborative art activities
